Hi my name is Bob Rodrigue. I am the owner of Big Easy Bike Tours. I grew up in Houma, Louisiana about fifty miles southwest of New Orleans, deep in the heart of Cajun Country. My dad taught me at a young age to trap, hunt, and fish along the bayous of South Louisiana as a youngster which instilled in me a deep passion for the coastal wetlands of Louisiana and our cajun culture and heritage, a passion that still grows each day.
I moved to New Orleans in 1983 and have called it home most of my adult life. When returning after Katrina I became a tour guide, reestablishing my love and passion for south Louisiana and New Orleans. I had been doing bus tours in New Orleans ever since. The bus tour I had been doing I created while on my bike. This is where the idea for Big Easy Bike Tours came from.
I started Big Easy Bike Tours for the people that want to get off the bus, the ones that want more discussion and a tour more catered to their needs and desires.
