It is February 20 and spring is in the air in New Orleans and changes are coming for Big Easy Bike Tours. It has been just over a year since launching this website and I will be updating it in the next few days or weeks. It has been a good year and I have received much input from the public. After carefully analyzing all of this I have decide to make some changes and much time and thought has gone into reworking the tours. The changes that are coming will begin on March 9 the day after Mardi Gras.
The Ride tour which was introduced in August has easily become the second most popular tour behind the Esplanade. Because the Ride is designed with little narration and many people want the narration of which Big Easy Bike Tours is known for, their has been many people that have chosen to do the Ride as a fully narrated tour. Done this way the tour is about 20 miles in 5 hours, a very leisurely pace. We stop for lunch at a neighborhood poboy shop. Cost of this tour is $75 and will be considered a combination tour. Combination tours are only offered at 8am.
I will now offer an Esplanade and Garden District combination tour also. This will be both the Creole and American culture, architecture and history combined. This is the best of both worlds, in the world greatest city. This tour will also stop for a lunch break and be about 17 miles in 5 hours. This tour will cost $75 and only offered at 8am. The Garden District which was the least popular of the three tours will now only be offered only as a combination tour with the Esplanade.

Reserve early for Jazz Fest. Because all of my tours run right through the Jazz Fest neighborhoods there will not be any tours on festival days. Rentals are available both weekends and tours will run on the non festival days. The blackout dates for Jazz Fest are April 29,30 May 1,5,6,7,8. Rentals are $25 per day and a 4 day minimum.
